Introducing... Hubby of the Year!

Introducing, in the left corner whom some would call “Louse Man” and in the right corner “Hubby of the Year”. Ladies and gentlemen, lads and lassies, today I came home from work to a most wonderful and inviting aroma. What is that smell? Has someone been baking? It smells like cinnamon bread. My husband whom I will from here on refer to as HY (Hubby of the Year) met me at the door with a big smile. “Have you been baking?”, I asked incredulously. Still smiling, I say, “You’ve got me curious” as I follow him to the kitchen. There, on the stove was a most beautiful sight. Pineapple chicken, kielbasa in diced tomatoes and basil, cinnamon green beans, potatoes a la Dan (my dear friend Cindy’s man of the year) and ….. (drum roll please)….. fresh baked bread. Needless to say this was a welcome home I will always remember. Not only did it have a great presentation, but was absolutely delicious as well. And that, my friends, is only one of the many reasons my husband is way in the lead for Hubby of the Year!

AND I can't believe I forgot to mention the fact that my wonderful hubby also had to clean the kitchen before he could cook. I hate that don't you? Thanks again sweetie.

Okay, this could become a franchise...Voice of Vision: In Your Kitchen! Recipes, please? And wow, I don't think anyone in our family has ever really used basil before. Hm. We picky eaters request taking out the tomatoes first. Then I'll take the broccoli and mushrooms out of Thanksgiving dinner. We can be cool like that...yeah. Sounds yummy though.

Oh, my, my, my!
Ok first, I didn't know you had a blogspot??
And second, I enjoy the fact that you write the way you talk. Most people don't do that. Like how some peoples have a phone voice?
Oh, and lastly? Why wasn't I invited over for that meal? I know, I know, the mushy stuff. ;)

I did it again, 10-28-08 -

Grilled, blackened orange roughy topped with almond slices and parsley, draped across a bed of spnaish rice, with buttered kernal corn surrounding the rice to hold it all together...mmmmmmm....not sure what has gotten into me, and I still have no idea what I am doing, but it has been fun to be creative...
